Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Little Star Car Seat Cleaning! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our cleaning services for car seats, strollers, high chairs, playpens, and other baby gear ("Services"), including our subscription plans. By booking a Service with Little Star Car Seat Cleaning ("we," "us," "our"), you ("Customer," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Our Services

  • We provide professional deep cleaning and sanitization services for baby gear using baby-safe, non-toxic products.

  • While we strive for the best possible results, the outcome of cleaning may vary depending on the condition, age, material, type of soiling, and pre-existing stains on the item(s). We do not guarantee the removal of all stains, odors, or wear.

  • You are responsible for informing us of any known pre-existing damage, sensitivities, or specific material care instructions for your items at the time of booking. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage. We may photograph items upon receipt to document their condition.

2. Booking, Scheduling, and Cancellations

  • Services can be booked via our website or by contacting us directly.

  • All bookings are subject to availability. We will confirm your service appointment.

  • Cancellations/Rescheduling: We request at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the travel fee for your zone or a portion of the service fee, at our discretion.

3. Pick-Up and Delivery

  • Customer Responsibilities:

    • Ensure items are ready for pick-up at the agreed time and accessible location.

    • Remove ALL personal belongings (toys, pacifiers, blankets, food, valuables, etc.) from gear prior to pick-up. We are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or disposed-of personal items left in gear.

    • If you request items to be left unattended for pick-up or delivery, you assume all risk of loss, theft, or damage to the items while unattended.

  • Travel Fees: Travel fees apply for pick-up and delivery services as per our current fee schedule published on our website, based on your location (e.g., Local Zone - Star, Middleton, Eagle, Meridian; Extended Zone - Nampa, Garden City, Caldwell; Long Range Zone - Boise, Kuna, Emmett). These fees are subject to change.

  • Missed Appointments: If we are unable to pick up or deliver items due to customer unavailability at the scheduled time without prior notice, an additional travel fee may be charged for a rescheduled attempt.

4. Car Seat Safety & Reinstallation - VERY IMPORTANT

  • Little Star Car Seat Cleaning DOES NOT reinstall car seats. Our service is limited to cleaning.

  • You, the Customer, are solely responsible for the correct and safe reinstallation of any car seat in your vehicle according to the car seat manufacturer's instructions and current child passenger safety guidelines.

  • We are not certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs). We strongly advise you to consult the car seat manual, your vehicle manual, or seek assistance from a certified CPST for proper installation.

  • By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that Little Star Car Seat Cleaning bears no liability for incorrect car seat installation or any incidents arising therefrom.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Service prices are listed on our website or provided at the time of booking. Prices for one-time services are "from" amounts or fixed, as indicated. Final pricing may depend on the item's condition and specific requirements.

  • Travel fees are additional unless covered by a subscription plan as specified.

  • Payment is due upon booking of the cleaning service, unless otherwise agreed (e.g., for subscriptions).

  • We accept: credit/debit cards, online payments, and personal checks.

  • All applicable taxes will be added to your invoice.

6. Satisfaction and Claims

  • We strive for your complete satisfaction. Please inspect your items upon return.

  • Any concerns or issues with the cleaning service must be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving your cleaned items.

  • Our liability for any damage to an item directly caused by our negligence during the cleaning process will be limited to the lesser of: (a) the cost of repair by a third party agreed upon by us, (b) the current depreciated replacement value of a similar used item, or (c) the cost of the cleaning service for that specific item. We are not liable for damage due to undisclosed pre-existing conditions, normal wear and tear, or inherent weaknesses in materials.

7. Subscription Plans

  • Plan Details: We offer various subscription plans ("Subscription(s)") as detailed on our website. Each plan specifies the number/type of items cleaned per month, frequency, pricing, and included benefits (e.g., travel fee coverage/reduction, discounts on additional services).

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis, typically on the same day each month corresponding to your sign-up date. You authorize us to charge your provided payment method automatically for each billing cycle.

  • Failed Payments: If a recurring payment fails, we will notify you. Services may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.

  • Scheduling Subscription Services: You are responsible for scheduling your monthly cleaning slots based on your Subscription benefits and our availability. Unused services within a billing cycle do not roll over to the next cycle unless explicitly stated in your plan.

  • Subscription Term & Cancellation:

    • Subscriptions are typically month-to-month with a minimum term of 3 months.

    • You may cancel your Subscription at any time following the 3-month term and before your next scheduled billing date to avoid being charged for the subsequent month.

    • Should you cancel prior to your 3-month initial term, you will be charged the full price of any services you have utilized from the start of your subscription.

    • No refunds are provided for partially used subscription periods.

  • Changes to Subscriptions: We reserve the right to modify Subscription plan details, benefits, or pricing. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any material changes to your existing Subscription.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Except as expressly stated in these Terms, Little Star Car Seat Cleaning provides its Services "as is" and disclaims all other warranties, express or implied.

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our Services or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the preceding three (3) months.

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Privacy

  • We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

10. Amendments to Terms

  • We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or other direct communication.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
